* Carbon Sealing Rings

At CREATIVE CARBON PRIVATE LIMITED we manufacture Carbon sealing rings which are manufactured with sophisticated equipments and skilled technical staff.

Carbon has given outstandingly good results for dynamic seals owing to its special properties.

The most important properties are:

  • Good frictional qualities

  • Good chemical resistance 

  • High thermal resistance

  • High corrosion resistance

  • Outstanding resistance of thermal shock

  • Low thermal expansion

  • Good thermal conductivity

  • Good form stability, even at high temperatures

  • Low neutron absorption cross-section
Carbon materials should always be considered where special working conditions are met, such as where:

  • Working temperatures are too high for lubricating oils or greases

  • The medium to be sealed must not be contaminated by lubricants 

    The seals run in grease-solvent media or liquids without any marked lubricating effect

  • The corrosion resistance of other materials is inadequate.

Dynamic sealing elements made of carbon can be classified according the application

The base materials for dynamic carbon sealing elements are carbon graphite, graphite and resin bonded graphite with special impregnations according to the application. Use includes wet running, mixed and dry running.

*Carbon Rails

Everywhere where high temperatures are occur and oil free slide ways are required.

Graphite Carbons finds employment as a lubricating material especially

in Textile Industries are Asbestos Graphited Slide Rails used, in ordered or avoid contamination from the normally used lubricating agents.

We have developed Asbestos Graphited Slide Rails for FAMATEX, MONFORT AND T. T. Stenter Machines for which we have received the technical know-how from abroad. It has properties like Self-lubricating Durability, Long life, Strong enough with a good flexibility and highly heat resistance.

In result of these, Stenter Machines will run smoothly without much load over the Electrical Motor and also it will increase the life of Stenter Clips.

*Pressed moulded Carbon Parts

In each case the economy of pressed moulded carbon parts must be weighed against the tool costs. Owing to the shrinkage of the carbon parts during kilning, dimensional tolerances can be expected to be + 1% on nominal sizes. Design should therefore try to ensure that only the sealing face need be machined.
